Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT) is an attachment-based, evidence-informed approach developed from Emotionally Focused Therapy by Dr. Sue Johnson. EFIT helps individuals understand how emotions and attachment experiences shape their inner world, sense of self, and relationships. Rather than focusing only on symptom management, we slow the process to explore what your emotions are communicating and what you need at a deeper level.

Through EFIT, we support the development of a healthy, secure attachment within yourself. This involves learning to respond to your emotions with curiosity, compassion, and care rather than judgment or avoidance. As you begin to understand and trust your emotional experiences, self-criticism often softens, emotional regulation improves, and a stronger sense of self-worth can emerge.
